This Birchwood TS37 is in need of some TLC which is reflected in the current asking price. She has a range of electoincs and had new engines fitted in 2008 that have only completed 345 hours. She was last out of the water in 2013. This boat is well suited for all coastal and inland waterways with its vast living area, she ideal for long term cruising or live aboard.
Accommodation
The Birchwood TS 37 offers eights berths in three cabins. There is a large state room at the rear of the boat with full-sized Island bed. Hanging wardrobe and locker space Dressing table with mirror Opening windows Heating outlet It has an en-suite Heads with shower, sea toilet with holding tank and sink and warm air heating duct. Access hatch to the engine room
The saloon has a large curved seating area which converts to a double bed. A sideboard runs the length of the cabin giving lots of storage space including a built-in drinks cabinet. Steps lead up to sliding doors to rear deck of the boat. Inside helm with helm seat and full navigation and instrumentation. Heating controls. Warm air heating duct. There is a TV and DVD player.
Down a couple of steps is located to the port side Large Dining area which converts to a double bed. Under seating storage plus drawer and locker storage, heating outlet and cupboards. Opening portlight.
The Galley opposite with wood flooring, sink with hot and cold pressurised water, drainer, three-burner gas hob, large gas oven and grill, Microwave, 12v Fridge. Storage for crockery and cutlery. lots of Lockers and cupboards.
Forward is a day head with sea toilet with holding tank, shower, sink with hot and cold water. Guest cabin forward is 2 single V berths, hanging space and lockers. Opening roof hatch Heating outlet. Access to the anchor chain locker. The rear deck area has ample seating for 8 persons with locker space beneath seats. Mechanical and Rigging
This Birchwood TS37 has two Volvo Penta D6 310HP turbocharged diesel engines with310HP new 2008 located under the saloon floor. Freshwater cooled. It was last serviced in 2013 and has 345 engine hours as at the 1st July 2019. It has two 423 litre fuel tanks. Fuel tanks are currently 50% full. It has a shaft drives to 3 blade bronze props. Trim tabs. This boat will cruise at 20 knots and has a maximum speed of 25 knots.
5 x 12 volt batteries (2 x engine + 2 x domestic + 1 x genset) charging from alternator and via 240v shore power system with ring main, immersion heater and battery charger. 6KW generator 22 hours last serviced 2013.
