This successful John Rock design incorporates all those well tried qualities which inspire complete confidence.  With a long keel and heavy displacement, solid GRP hull with encapsulated internal ballast and a balsa/ply cored deck, it is the ultimate ocean voyager.  The Tradewind 35 possesses exceptional sea keeping and handling characteristics, which makes her a pleasure to sail.  She is robust, safe and comfortable.  High standard of construction with comfortable and practical accommodation for four.  SAPPHIRE had her hull recently re-epoxied (2016) and her standing and running rigging replaced (2015).  Her blue GRP hull is like a mirror. the whole boat has undergone a major refit under the current ownership and is in lovely condition throughout.
