Broker Remarks
The Westerly Tempest is a comfortable, sturdy and sea kindly yacht. 'Christine Marie' is a capable cruiser with a good specification and well maintained. The Tempest shares the hull with the Westerly Ocean 33 ,which was the racing version. This hull gives the Tempest exceptional performance for a cruising yacht.
She has a good-sized saloon, large heads, a well laid out galley and sleeps 6 in two double aft cabins and two settee berths in the saloon. The saloon will sit six adults around a centre-line folding table. She has a hot and cold pressurized water system.
Westerly Tempest’s are well-designed and strongly built yachts. She has a new genoa and her main, storm and cruising chute are all in good condition. Her engine has been reconditioned.
She has a good inventory of Navigation and safety equipment.
She can be viewed afloat 7 days a week.

Westerly Tempest’s are well-designed and strongly built yachts.
'Christine Marie' is a capable cruiser with a good specification and well maintained. Since purchasing her in 2004 I have spent considerable money on upgrading her engine, rigging & sails; adding full mains electrics, battery management, along with navigation & safety equipment.
I purchased the yacht in 2004 when working towards my YM offshore. Since purchasing her I have logged 25,000NM including a 2-year, 3000M circumnavigation of the UK in 2008/9. She has brought me safely through gale force winds & large rolling Irish seas, so I can personally vouch for her handling offshore in difficult conditions.
In calmer waters her unusual two rear cabins and large heads were popular with my crew, especially female, offering extra privacy than many other similar sized yachts.
Due to family ill health & Covid my sailing has been limited to inshore waters & I have now reluctantly decided to sell.
The engine was winterised & serviced prior to layup ashore in November 2023 and sails cleaned, inspected & stored for winter by Sanders sails Lymington. I will carry out usual cleaning & antifoul in spring so she is ready to sail.
