Looking to purchase a low-cost motorboat i.e a Channel Islands 22, that needs some work to turn it into a great little fishing boat?
Well look no further as this 1980 Channel Islands 22, with its sound single Ford Mermaid 150hp 4-cylinder turbo diesel engine, that needs some cosmetic TLC has just come on the market.
The engine which is in good working order has single lever controls with an electric start. The engine is freshwater cooled and has a shaft drive to fixed three-bladed propellers. The engine had a full service in March 2018 by the current owner and has been very reliable during her current ownership. This vessel will cruise at 10 knots and has a maximum speed of 12 knots. It has two GRP diesel fuel tanks with a total capacity of 200 litres.
As you will see from the photos, she is in need of some cosmetic TLC, but the owner is open to offers. She could be purchased as a project and easily be ready for the start of the new season. This Channel Island 22 is currently berthed in Chatham Marina where a berth could also be available.
