Gale Force Winds Batter The North Wales Coast
Gale Force Winds forecast at Conwy Saturday 14 September was a busy day at Conwy Marina as boat owners visited boats in preparation for Sundays much forecast gale. As the jet stream fed low pressure whistles across the Atlantic Weather forecasters are warning of some travel disruption in the UK.
Any travel disruption at this time of year is just more bad news for the marine industry as SIBS (South Hampton International Boat Show) started on 13th September. Jeanneau Dealers on the sail boat stand should not be badly affected by the Gale; however the pontoons may be closed for safety reasons.
