We have just taken on what must be the cleanest and best kept Moody 31 Mark 2 fin keeler currently for sale in the UK. Built in 1986 for her present owner she has been extremely well maintained and updated over the years. Her full teak interior is immaculate and gives ‘Zia Maria’ a warm safe and luxurious feel. more info.
She comes with a full set of good sails including Spinnaker and telescopic spinnaker pole. All lines lead back to the cockpit for easy single and short handed passage making. Added to this she has GPS, Radar and autohelm .
For comfort while away cruising she has a well equipped galley with a new oven, grill and two burners. Twin sinks with pressurized hot and cold water and a fridge. In her large heads she has good storage and hot water shower. And to make winter sailing that bit more fun a Eberspacher diesel hot air heating system.
She has been re- engined with a 28hp Volvo 2030 which has been serviced annually. The electrics have been refurbished along with the water system.
She is without doubt an excellent example of this most popular Bill Dixon designed Moody.
