Rare opportunity to purchase a genuine blue water cruiser. This go anywhere, steel hulled cruising yacht has just returned from adventures in the northern hemisphere and has sailed to Murmansk, Svalbard, Greenland, Iceland, The Faroe's, Heligoland, Denmark and the Shetlands to name but a few. She is now looking for new owners to enjoy new adventures with.
Built in 2000 in Holland by Brovo Scheepsbouw to a Colin Archer design modified for steel construction by Yacht Architect Kees P. Kornaat. The hull is made from heavy duty plate that overlaps itself to increase strength and durability. Originally sloop rigged the present owner changed her to Ketch rig in 2014. This made sail handling easier for a smaller crew and made her much more comfortable to sail.
Below decks is fitted out to a good standard and offers a comfortable living space, en-suite guest cabin with bunks, large galley and chart table.
The "owners cabin" is aft accessible via a corridor from the saloon. This spacious area is fitted out for comfort, but offers her new owners room for personal fit out. This cabin is also en-suite.
Auxiliary power is a 70hp Daewoo LO34 inboard diesel engine. This will push the boat along at 6.5 Knots@1700 rpm and offers reliability. Well maintained as you can imagine bearing in mind where she has travelled. Most recent service in June 2021.Recently completed a voyage from Newcastle to Gothenburg in June 2021 with 2 crew.

Keel laid by Brovo Scheepsbouw of Enkhuizen of the Netherlands in 2000.
The hull is 6mm plate below the waterline, 5mm above and 4mm used on deck and superstructure.
Long box constructed keel with 4,500 Kgs lead ballast.
Hull is two pack primed and painted with navy top coat and smart yellow cove line stripe. This was completed in 2014 and has been regularly renewed as required. Antifouling completed in 2021 prior to recent voyage.
The deck is finished in grey non slip using hard wearing commercial grade coatings.

This well maintained unit is situated in a dedicated engine space beneath the cockpit allowing easy access for servicing.
Reduction gearbox driving stainless steel shaft and 3-bladed bronze propeller.
Cruising speed is 6.5 knots@1700rpm
Fuel is stored in a 500 litre steel tank. This is then transferred to a 60 Litre day tank which will provide approximately 20 hours of running. Consumption varies depending on speed.
Bank of 4x12V batteries. These are wired together in sequence to provide 24V of engine and 24V of domestic power.
Batteries are recharged via the engine alternator or the Sterling Alternator to Battery spilt charger. 
Also fitted are 1500W inverter, 150M/amp inverter, Sterling Prosave Galvanic isolator and Leading Edge wind generator.

You can see why most Rival owners have used their boats for distance cruising with the family. They offer excellent headroom and a well organised living space in which to relax after a long passage or day on the water. The yacht can sleep 6 in comfort with 4 in the saloon and tow inn the forward cabin. There is oodles of storage space and the present owner has made this a bit more efficient by the installation of roll top locker fronts. He has also transformed the interior with attractive  pine lined bulkheads, forica lined half bulkheads in the saloon and a refurbishment of the heads compartment which gives the boat a modern twist without losing the Rival DNA. The flooring is smart hard wearing laminate and the headlinings are dark hard wearing carpet with batten support. 

The cabin is entered via the companionway with its new hard wood steps. To port is the galley with stainless steel sink, gimballed gas fuelled oven with 2-burner hob and grill and a top loading ice box for perishables. Sliding door cupboard storage behind cooker. Opposite the galley is the chart table with chart storage and chart reading light. Aft is the comfortable quarter berth which also doubles as a chart seat. Forward of the galley and chart table is the saloon seating/berths. There is a single berth to starboard and to port is an L-shaped seating area with dining table. Rge table folds out to double in size and will also drop to create a double berth. The upholstery is in "Burnt Orange" dralon and in excellent condition.

The Rival 32 was the improved version of the Rival 31 designed by Peter Brett and built by Marine Construction or Marcon as they were later named. This was a highly successful design with 200 hulls built and fitted out by Southern Boatbuilding. Drifter has been in her present ownership since 2017. During that time she has upgrades to her engine, replaced with a reconditioned Volvo Penta MD2030 and renovations to her cockpit and interior fit out. 
Deck stepped, mast head rig with heavy Dacron main mounted on boom. Roller furling headsail with Plastimo furling gear and a little used spinnaker.
This go anywhere yacht is in good shape and benefits from the introduction of a 30hp Volvo diesel in 2018.

New engine start panel mounted at companionway with key start. New shaft coupling on gearbox with new cutless bearing and deep sea seal. New 3 bladed propeller.

The Elizabethan range has long been a desirable and well admired range of boats. This Elizabethan 30 is no exception and was offered to the yachting public in 1968 until the mid 1970's. She is the ultimate cruiser/racer and was initially offered to compete in the RORC half tonner class.

GRP Constructed yacht with Cast iron fin keel, spade rudder with tiller steering and light "duck egg " blue gelcoat topsides. The present owner epoxied the hull as a preventative measure in 2019 using the Jotun epoxy system. The antifoul used is the high copper content EU45.

Below decks is beautifully appointed as well as being practical. The interior woods are a mixture of Columbian wood planking, Sapele wood, vanished teak and mahogany trims and vinyl covered marine ply panels. The interior is carpeted throughout in nautical blue hard wearing materials whilst all the upholstery was replaced in beige, machine washable, soft fabrics in 2021.
The saloon is entered from the cockpit. immediately to port is the well equipped galley with gas fueled Plastimo Neptune 200 oven with 2-burner hob and grill. Beside this is a stainless steel double sink with hot & cold mixer tap. The water is heated from either the engine when under way or the 2019 installed, C-Warm calorifier. Below the sink and oven are drawers for additional storage. On the hull side of the galley is work surface/preparation areas as well as bespoke plate storage. Beneath the work tops is additional larder storage and a front opening Vitrifrigo fridge with ice compartment. Opposite the galley is the large day heads/shower room. In the bow is a cabin with a double berth, offset against the portside hull. There is a large wardrobe opposite and a deck hatch above for light and ventilation. 
Returning to the saloon and moving aft there are two passages. To starboard passage allows access to the engine bay on one side whilst outboard is access to the tool room. Here you will find one of the water and one of the diesel tanks. The portside passage leads to the aft cabin. Again you will have access to the other side of the engine bay and outboard you will find the other water and diesel tanks. 
The aft cabin is both bright and beautifully finished. Large double bed to starboard with a separate section at the bottom suitable as a crib or storage area. Settee/dressing seat aft and a large wardrobe. Adjacent forward of the wardrobe is the en-suite heads with Raske sea toilet and sink. There is a large storage area aft. Vessel powered by an inboard Ford 2712E, 72hp diesel. Vessel cruises at 5 Knots @1200rpm.
This economical and reliable workhorse is situated in a soundproofed compartment beneath the cockpit.
Access is easy allowing servicing/daily checks to take place. Serviced regularly with most recent in 2021.
Fuel is prefiltered via a Vetus Pre-Filter system before reaching engine. 
Newage PRM 160 D2 reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft and bronze 3-bladed propeller. New disc rope cutter 2021
Cutlass bearing at propeller side was renewed in 2018 and a deep Sea seal introduced inboard at engine side 2018.
12/240V system onboard with 4x 110 amp, 12V domestic, 2x 110amp 12V engine start and 12V, 170 amp bow thruster batteries. The domestic batteries were replaced in 2021.
The batteries are recharged via the engine alternator, onboard Freemark Lyra smart charge battery charger or the newly installed 80W solar panels. 
There is a Sterling Smartcharge battery charger onboard in a box ready should the Freemark fail.

Cutter rig sailing yacht with deck stepped Z-Spars aluminum masts.
Stainless steel standing rigging inspected and certificated in 2021. Forestay replaced in 2021.
Terylene running rigging with the majority led aft via deck organisers and turning blocks to helm. New outhaul, genoa, main and mizzen stay sail halyards replaced in 2021 along with new genoa sheet halyards.
Roller furling inner and outer headsails with genoa sheet tracks mounted on coach roof, keeping side decks clear.
Sails are by Dolphin and were purchased in 2003. As previously mentioned they were not used until 2009.
Both genoa sails have a protective UV strip. The main and mizzen sails are mounted within lazy bags. The sails were inspected by local sail maker and the main genoa had a minor repair. Sails in good order. Spinnaker pole and rigging.
The winches are by Antal and are all 2-speed and self tailing.

Well built and maintained RIB built by Ballistic in 2006. White GRP hull with Hypalon tubes in excellent condition. Composite constructed RIB built by Ballistic in 2006. GRP hull with moulded spray strakes increasing grip when at speed. Light grey hypalon tubes with smart contrasting navy panels housing grab handles. Heavy duty fender to tubes with reinforced bow section with anchor point.

Deck finished in moulded non-slip for safety. Moulded GRP central console with perspex half windshield and stainless steel grab bars. Forward of the console is a seat which houses the battery compartment below and the back rest hinges open giving access to the internal wiring. aft is the side by side single jockey seats with padding and backrests. Beneath each seat is storage. Aft is a double seat with pivoting back rest . Again there is storage below. Stainless rear arch with spot lights, anchor light and VHF antenna. This has built in mooring cleats and rod holders.

Vessel powered by a well maintained Evinrude Etec 90 ELPTO 2-Stroke outboard. Electric trim and tilt with automatic choke and oil mix. Ket start with kill switch. Engine serviced in 2021 and is ready to go. She will happily cruise at 25 knots giving excellent fuel economy and performance.

Bank of two 12V batteries providing dedicated engine start and domestic power. Engine start battery was replaced in 2021.These are fitted with a isolator and recharged via the engine alternator. 12V switch panel at helm.

Vessel is powered by a 20hp inboard Volvo Penta MD2020 diesel engine. This 2 cylinder workhorse is located in the centre of the boat beneath an engine housing that doubles as a handy seat/bait table.. Reduction gearbox driving stainless steel shaft and bronze 3-bladed propeller. Engine serviced in July 2021.

"Barnacle Goose" is, in my opinion, a very good and clean example of the ever popular Contessa 26, built in 1976 by the renowned Jeremy Rogers to a David Sadler design. These are robust, go anywhere yachts built for the rigours of extended periods afloat. Several have circumnavigated our wonderful globe which is testament to her designer and builder. She was originally owned by Paul Heiney and Libby Purves and is the star of their book "The Sailing Weekend Book".

Her current custodian has owned her for over 20 years during which time several upgrades have been made such as a new diesel engine, upgrades to navigation aids and renewal of rigging and refurbishment of her windows. More importantly, the improvements made have not infringed on the DNA of this super craft and those who come to view will be delighted with her condition.

Below decks is warm and welcoming. Although only 26 feet over all, they have packed a lot into the interior including 4 decent sized berths, a heads compartment and a decent galley. She is bright and clean with a good combination of wipe clean GRP flow coated surfaces and nicely varnished teak and mahogany solid wood and faced marine ply. The flooring is teak and holly laminate in very good condition. The berth cushions and associated backrests are finished in soft dark red fabric and are of a generous thickness.

The galley is mid ships. To starboard, beneath the chart table top is a stainless stel sink and preparation area. The original fibreglass tank has been bypassed and a flexible tank introduced. The water is then hand pumped for ease. Cooking facilities are a magnificent Taylors 029 Paraffin fueled cooker. This has a two burner hob and a warming oven. The paraffin is stored and dispensed via a 1.5 gallon capacity tank with pressure valve, filter and on/off isolation valves. At the chart table there is a chart reading light along with electronic navigation aids including a Garmin GPSmap colour plotter/radar, Navtex, chart storage and shelving.

Between the saloon and the fore cabin is a heads compartment with a Lavac marine toilet to starboard and a hanging locker to port. There is a door to the heads for privacy, but this is currently removed. The door when fitted, can be clipped back to the main bulkhead in order to separate the forepeak from the saloon. This give two cabins rather than one.

In the bow is a very comfortable V0-berth with infill to make it into a double. Opening deck hatch provides natural light and ventilation. Additional ventilation from deck mounted Vetus deck ventilator. All cabins are fitted with 12V lighting.

Heavy lay up GRP constructed sailing yacht with long keel and transom/keel mounted rudder with tiller steering. Under water areas antifouled bi annually with most recent in September 2020. The hull was epoxied by a previous owner in 1997 and is in good condition. Original white gelcoat topsides with original green cove line and  "Contessa" hull decoration. Bow has a painted strip purely for protective purposes should damage occur when deploying the anchor.

Hull to deck join finished in teak capping. Flush foredeck finished in tread master panels. Stainless steel bow roller. Simpson Lawrence manual windlass with deck mounted 25lb CQR anchor. White GRP superstructure with contrasting pale mint green panels in moulded non slip. Teak grab handles strategically placed on the coachroof aid movement around the decks. Further protection offered by stainless steel bow and stern rails joined by stanchions port and starboard and a double set of uncoated guard wires. Stanchions are cranked to ease movement along the side decks.

Vessel powered by a frugal, but reliable Nanni 2.45HE diesel engine including new TMC 40 gearbox. This 2-cylinder, 10hp workhorse was installed in 2006 and is situated beneath the companionway steps giving excellent access for daily checks and servicing requirements.

The engine has been well maintained and had a full service in July 2020. She has done little since. Engine has completed 551 hours since 2006 and is key operated at the panel. Reduction gearbox driving a stainless steel shaft and a 3-bladed fixed propeller. PSS shaft seal. Single lever engine control mounted in cockpit with forward and reverse gearing. Engine will cruise happily at 4 knots burning what can only be described as "highly desirable" 0.5litres per hour. This gives a range under engine of around 320 hours from her 40 litre stainless steel tank. 

Bank of 2x12V batteries providing engine start and domestic power. The batteries are fitted with a rotary style selector switch and recharged via the engine alternator. The original Jeremy Roger electric panel is still in place but a modern selector panel with illuminated switches is also installed. Bermudan sloop sail plan with gold anodised aluminium deck mounted spars by Proctor. Stainless steel standing rigging replaced in 2008. Terylene braid on braid running rigging replaced as required. Mainsheet operated on a stainless steel bar in cockpit. This allows for the cockpit to be uncluttered.  Detachable inner forestay with quick release pelican hook fitting attaches to U-bolt fitting on foredeck. This allows the additional hank on jibs to be used.

Mainsail reefing is through mast roller reefing on the boom. Sailspar, continuous line, roller furling system for genoa. Vessel rigged for spinnaker including halyards, sheet winches, boom and mast mounted track.

Vessel had new propulsion installed in 1997. The choice was the extremely reliable and economical Yanmar 2GM20 with Sail Drive unit. Surprisingly the engine proved defective and was replaced under warranty in 1998.
The engine is well maintained and has only completed 813 hours.
The fuel is stored in a stainless steel tank and is pre-filtered before reaching the engine.

Extremely solidly built wooden ketch designed by Walter Raynor and built by Woodnutt & Co in the early 60's. You could not afford to build a boat like this anymore as the cost of acquiring the quality of wood used in the construction would be prohibitive. Finding a yard with the skills to put her together would be another challenge altogether.

She is a project, maenge altogether. ke no mistake and whoever takes this on should ideally be a wooden boat enthusiast and be prepared for hard graft in putting her right. However she is in good shape structurally and benefits from a recent Nanni engine. Her timber masts have been stored under cover and are in excellent condition.

The vessel can sleep 6 over two cabins and the saloon. The main cabin and aft cabins are entered via the cockpit.

Starting with the aft cabin there are two decent sized berths port and starboard and a large hanging locker with drawer storage in a central position aft. There is a stainless steel drop down sink The plumbing needs reattached. There are berth cushions but not sure if a full set.

The main cabin is accessed again from the cockpit via a set of outward folding doors and a bi-folding hatch.

To port is a galley area with space for sink (missing) and a top loading fridge. Gas fuelled Plastimo Neptune 200 gas oven with 2-burner hob and grill. Opposite the galley is the heads compartment with Lavac vacuum pump toilet and another stainless steel drop down sink. There appears to be plumbing for a shower but I cant verify this.

Saloon has the standard berths/settees port and starboard with storage below and behind. 

Forward cabin with two single berths with storage below.

Wooden constructed hull with carvel planking. Materials are believed to be larch on oak. The hull is very well built and is painted blue above the waterline. Underwater areas are finished in red antifoul. Cast iron keel shoe acts as ballast and allows the yacht to take the ground in a drying mooring. Keel hung rudder.

Teak upper bulwarks with in built scuppers. Stainless steel bow fitting with roller. Stainless steel bow rails and stanchion set. Teak decks with black sikaflex seams. Raised accommodation coachroof with access/ventilation hatch to forward cabin. Aft deck with painted steel dinghy davits suitable for both an inflatable or hard tender. Aft locker hatch with access to additional ground tackle and to steering. Steering gear protected by timber box. Midships cockpit with marine ply sole giving access to engine bay and tanks. Marine ply half wheelhouse with forward facing windows and additional perspex side windows port and starboard. Locker storage port and starboard of cockpit which double as seats.

Raised aft accommodation deck with sliding hatchway and saloon style doors to aft cabin.

The engine is a Nanni, 5-cylinder inboard diesel. The Nanni is a super engine and is based on a Kubota block. This is a low revving engine which develops 62hp at 2800 revs. We think she was installed between 2005 and 2008 but cant be certain. She has a hydraulically powered gearbox and has a stainless steel shaft. It looks like the boat was fitted with new battery cables and isolators at the same time as these are of modern construction. The batteries are not fitted and at time of writing we are unaware of there existence. 

She is called an "Atlantic 38 Power Ketch" and is fitted with two square footed timber spars. These are fitted into two cast and painted tabernacles mounted on the forward and aft coachroofs. The masts have thankfully been stored under cover and appear to be in excellent condition albeit a bit dusty. The rigging is situated adjacent to the boat and may be salvageable. It may be more prudent to replace it.

At time of writing, I am unable to ascertain the existence of any canvas. 

Super little day boat with weekend opportunities, Deep safe cockpit with full cockpit enclosure and storage. Cuddy cabin with 2-berths/seating area. Space for a cooker. GRP Constructed hull with pronounced V which cuts through the water cleanly improving handling and minimising on deck water. Hull and superstructure finished in "magnolia White" gel coat in good condition. Flush forecheck with nonslip strips. Stainless steel bow rail adds security when anchoring. Teak grab handles mounted to coach roof. Opening hatch to cabin. Perspex windscreen offers protection to helmsman. Deep cockpit with helm seat to port, bench seat to starboard and rear. Well at rear with reinforced transom for mounting engine. Stainless steel stern rail. Mooring cleats.

Vessel powered by a 3-cylinder Tohatsu 70hp, 2-stroke outboard. This is the automix variety which saves the user having to remember to mix the oil and the fuel. Electric start with trim and tilt. Push choke and fast idle. There is a 3.5hp Tohatsu 2-stroke auxiliary mounted on a bracket at transom. 

12V system with single battery fitted with isolator. This provides engine start and domestic power. Rev counter and trim gauge. Rubberised comfort grip steering wheel with hydraulic steering.

Below decks is spacious with excellent headroom. Would ideally suit a cruising couple or those with a young family. There is a double berth in the forepeak with storage below, a quarter berth asft on the starboard side beneath the fold out chart table and the saloon dinette converts to a large double.

The main saloon is accessed via a set of steps from the wheelhouse. This has a closing door for privacy. To starboard is a chart table which folds back when not in use. Adjacent is the linear galley with stainless steel sink, hot and cold pressurised water and a gimballed gas fuelled oven with 2-burner hob and grill. PLentiful storage for provisions/ cutlery/crockery and an Isotherm Fridge/Freezer for perishables.

Opposite the galley is the aforementioned dinette. There is storage beneath the seats. Between the main saloon and the forward cabin is a heads compartment to port. This has a sea toilet and a porcelain hand basin with foot pumped fresh water. Opposite the heads is a large wardrobe storage area with louvered doors to prevent damp.

The interior is clean but with some finishing off required to some of the hull linings. This would be a relatively simple thing to achieve and could be done over a period of time as you enjoy using the boat.

Construction
GRP constructed long keeled motor sailor with keel and transom mounted rudder. Light blue topsides with "Fisher" signature hull boards midships. Teak topped capping rails with certain sections requiring replacement/re-attached. Stainless steel bow and stern rails with stainless steel stanchions. Guard Wires may require replacement. 

White super structure and decks with half wheelhouse. The side decks are nice and wide allowing easy access. The cockpit is large and features locker storage and a set of removable cockpit cushions. Handily placed grab rails on the wheelhouse and coach roof assist when moving forwards in a seaway. Flared bow minimises spray and any water that comes on deck is quickly released via the scuppers. Stainless steel bow fitting with anchor roller.

The wheelhouse is accessed by two timber fold out doors with washboards below. Visibility is great with two large glazed windows forward, large glazed window port and starboard with slide opening sections for ventilation. A perspex hatch in the wheelhouse roof gives the helm a good view of his mainsail. 

Mechanical
Vessel is powered by a British Sabb inboard diesel engine with reduction gearbox driving a bronze variable pitch propeller. This 20hp workhorse is situated beneath the wheelhouse floor allowing easy access for daily checks and servicing requirements. Separate throttle and direction levers mounted adjacent to the helm. Gauges for oil pressure, rev counter and charging. Key start.

Bank of 2X12V batteries providing engine crank and domestic power. These are fitted with a rotary style selector switch. Vessel fitted with a bow thruster to aid maneuverability in tight areas. batteries recharged via engine alternator. There is a shore power inlet with cable.  

Sails & Rigging
Gold anodised aluminium deck stepped mast and boom. Main mast has been adapted for roller furling mainsail. Stainless steel standing rigging with adjustable backstay. Shroud attachments outboard allowing unhindered access forward. Roller furling headsail system with all lines led aft to cockpit. Sails include an in mast furling main and a furling genoa. Sheet winches in cockpit.

Ketch rigged, doubled ended motor sailor built and fitted out by RJ Priors in 1989. She is one of the last 6 built there and has been maintained to a very high standard. These boats are seen as a viable alternative to the Nauticat 33 and Fisher 34 and whoever buys her will be surprised how well they sail. Her inboard Perkins Prima 50 has completed 1375 hours and is in excellent working order. The main mast has been adapted for in-mast furling but the Mizzen is still a conventional sail plan. Warm and welcoming accommodation with double berth aft cabin, spacious galley with highly desirable Wallas stove, 2-berths in the saloon and a single en-suite berth in the forepeak. Copper coated hull. 

Below decks is well laid out and will suit a cruising couple with occasional guests or as a long range solo explorer/liveaboard.In reality she will suit most people who want safety and comfort. 

She has been well maintained over the years by her builder and it shows. The main saloon is bright and welcoming and accessed via saloon style doors from the cockpit. The woodwork is mahogany and the furnishings are soft light blue fabrics. Full standing headroom throughout. Immediately to port is the U shaped galley with stainless steel sink and drainer area to port, Wallas diesel fueled oven with 2-ring hob and an Isotherm front loading fridge with freezer compartment. Lots of space for provisions, crockery and utensils.

Opposite the galley is the forward facing chart table with seat, chart storage and 12V switch panel. Here you will find an additional GPS and depth sounder along with the all important Eberspacher heating controls. The switch panel and associated wiring were all replaced in 2005.

Returning to the saloon you will find an L-shaped seating area to port with offset saloon table with double fold out leaves. The tables interior leaves are fitted with protective formica to match the galley work surfaces. The seating doubles as a berth with a trotter box suitable for the longer guests. Fantastic storage behind the backrests both sides of the saloon. Opposite is a further settee/berth. Plentiful storage in the hull mounted cupboards. Excellent light from the numerous port lights situated around the coachroof. 

In the bow is a single berth ensuite cabin with the berth to starboard. Generous stowage including a hanging locker and cubby hole storage. Large teak hatch allows additional light and ventilation. Ensuite heads with Blake marine toilet. This was fully serviced prior to lift out in 2021. Stainless steel sink with hot and cold pressurised water. Shower head with pump out.

Owners aft cabin with V-Berth. This cabin can be made into a double by using the infils stored unter the starboard berth. This is a beautiful cabin and offers privacy to you and your guests. Excellent storage below bunks and a foul weather gear locker adjacent to the vanity unit.

Vessel is fitted with a 50hp, inboard Perkins Prima, 4-cylinder diesel. This is a very economical and reliable workhorse and can be found beneath the cockpit sole. This allows easy access for servicing and daily checks. Helm position is on the port side with wheel steering, engine start panel with visual and audible alarms, rev counter and hour meter. The engine has completed 1376 recorded hours and has experienced an annual service. Current owner changes the oil before lifting ashore and then changes the fuel filter when returning in the spring.

The boat used to have curtains but these have been removed as they were faded and a tad mouldy. The rails and hooks are still in place though should new curtains be desired.

The boat is kept warm and dry thanks to Eberspacher diesel fired hot air heating.

GRP constructed motor boat with semi displacement hull profile. Mid mounted engine and hull shape allow for ease of maneuverability at both low and high speeds. Under water profile features a directional skeg from which the propeller shaft protrudes. This is further protected by a cast iron prop guard that extends aft to below the rudder. This will eliminate potential breakdowns from pot ropes.
The underwater areas were copercoated from new,. This has been well maintained by the first and present owners.

The rails extend aft to the cockpit. handily placed stainless steel grab rails as you leave the cockpit and on top of the wheelhouse roof.

Lage self bailing cockpit with large below deck storage areas. The engine housing incorporates a very handy seat with a removable seat cushion and backrest. The saloon table can be used outside and the "picnic" setting is completed by another removable moulding which can be used as a storage box as well as an additional seat with its own cushion. The gunwales are deep so you will feel secure when drifting onyr in a seaway. The gunwales are topped with teak incorporating hand rails, fairleads and rod rests. Opening transom door to bathing platform.

At time of build the vessel came with the additional exterior throttle and trolling valve. These along with the emergency tiller would allow the boat to be driven from the stern. The reality is that here in the Northeast we dont really get the weather for exterior driving and we never use trolling valves. Both these features have been disconnected. A more handy option is the deck wash pump which gets a use everytime she is fishing.

Vessel is powered by an economical but super reliable Yanmar 4BY 150 hp inboard diesel. Those familiar with BMW's will know that these units provided excellent power from a relatively light build weight. This engine has been well maintained and has service history up to late 2019. It starts first time every time and will continue to provide many years of reliable service to come. She has done 1510 at time of writing.
