QUADRILLE OF THE ISLES is a superb example of the Northwind 62. She is a 62 foot , blue water cruising yacht, that can accommodate eleven. She is currently moored in Alicante, Spain and perfectly equipped for cruising the Mediterranean and further afield. Her inventory is huge and includes, in no particular order; bow thruster, Air conditioning, diving equipment, washing machine, water filtration system, transom garage for RIB, passerelle and bimini. This Northwind 62 offers safe and secure sailing but is compact enough to run and own without the need for a full time crew.
The cockpit space is the star of the show for entertaining with a full sized dining table and an adjustable Bimini on tracks. The steering cockpit is well designed with good visibility.
The interior offers a full width deck saloon with all round panoramic view. The rest of the accommodation is well laid out and guests can be accommodate in 4 sleeping cabins. The owners cabin is what you would expect on a boat of this quality with a kingsize bed (with lee cloths), writing desk, security safe and en-suite heads. There are twin double guest cabins that contain additional fold down sea berths with en-suites. The foreward cabin has two bunk beds with additional access through the deck hatch and a wash basin – perfect if you did want to accommodate crew.
This Northwind 62 was built in 1997 but because of an ongoing program of updating by the owner looks and feels like a much newer boat. Updates include: Teak decks, topsides, air conditioning, batteries, battery charger, generator, sails, windlass, canvas and safety gear.
