ALOUETTE is a really impressive example of these fast attractive cruisers from Jeanneau and is the owners ‘two cabin version’. She has been maintained to a very high standard and has been cruised in the med for a couple of seasons by a local family. The list of updates is extensive and comprehensive. The owner says “we have sailed her around the med without problems, she has a fast turn of speed and looks great. 8 knots achieved in a force 4”.
Her antifoul has been stripped back and she is ready and waiting for the owner to apply a new coat, or copper coating then she will be ready to sail away. Even her bilges are spotless.
This is a very elegant looking boat with wide decks and twin wheel steering and a spacious cockpit which offers lots of space for chilling or sailing. Twin wheels with easy access to instruments and sail trim, and of course access to the bathing ladder through a removable section of the helm seat. Davits make tender storage easy and she comes equipped with a bimini- so perfect for glorious sunny days at anchor.
The standing rigging was replaced this year and most of the running rigging in 2017.
ALOUETTE sleeps five in two double cabins and a saloon conversion. Her interior is finished in teak with blue upholstery on the very comfortable curved settee and armchairs. There is a large heads compartment with a separate shower. A very spacious and light interior for cruising in comfort for a family, two couples or as a liveaboard.
