Broker Remarks
This Hardy Seawings 355 sports cruiser for sale here in Plymouth is in fantastic condition, the current owners have owned her since 2014 and have upgraded and maintained her to a very high standard.
One of the first improvements that the current owners have made to the Hardy Seawings was to replace all of the interior upholstery, this brings the boat up to a more modern interior fit out, it has been very tastefully done!
The Hardy Seawings is powered by twin Volvo Penta KAD 42P-A's, 230hp diesel engines, which makes her a comfortable and seaworthy boat across a range of speeds and conditions. The owners have also had an in depth service the engines and outdrives in 2015 and serviced annually by a marine trade professional.
Another more recent upgrade was the addition of a new Simrad GO7 chartplotter with Navionics +, this brings the navigation equipment immediately up do date especially with the Navionics + card which has charts for the UK & Ireland.
The Hardy Seawings was one of the very first of the hard top styled sports cruisers, Built by Hardy Marine and designed by Andrew Wolstenholme, they were ahead of the game introducing this concept to keen boaters. Subsequently today we see this hard top arrangement more with brands such as Sealine & Bavaria. The hard top cockpit arrangement is fantastic, giving excellent cover from the elements in a seaway, but with ample opening cockpit windows and canvas sunshade covers built into the roof she is well ventilated on warmer days, as well as the aft cockpit canvas cover that can be removed if needed.
The boat has been in use this season and is currently on her berth here at Mayflower Marina, she is ready to go for any new owner and a sea trial can be arranged further down the sales process.
Below decks she has a comfortable, roomy saloon which also holds a well-equipped galley and a tasteful rounded saloon seating arrangement at the widest point. She has a spacious forward cabin and a good size double berth cabin aft. There is also a generous heads.
Owners Remarks:
We are really sorry to be selling "Seawings" she is a seakindly and surprisingly economical boat. She is is very comfortable to spend long periods aboard. Although we have only done coastal cruising although she is quite capable of channel crossings. The previous owners even cruised the French canals in her.
