The Hunter Legend 33 is a spacious family cruiser with comfortable accommodation and easily handled performance, and the twin keels allow full exploration of the shallow waters of the East Coast and beyond. This excellent example has been maintained to the highest standard from new and is offered for sale in turnkey condition. Having been relaunched in December 2019 after polishing, antifouling and new anodes, she is ready to sail away.
Accommodation
The layout offers up to six berths with two double sleeping cabins separate from the main accommodation. In the forecabin, V berth with stowage under. Opening hatch to foredeck. In the saloon, settee berth to starboard with dinette opposite. A fixed saloon table which drops to allow an insert to make a double bert.
Chart table to starboard with galley opposite. Two burner gimballed gas cooker with grill and oven. Twin stainless-steel sinks with a hot and cold pressurised water system. 190-litre freshwater capacity. Refrigerator. Separate heads compartment with marine toilet, shower and washbasin. Aft cabin with double berth and hanging locker. Webasto hot air diesel fired central heating. TV/DVD Player.
Mechanical and Rigging
Located under the companionway, Volvo MD2030 three-cylinder 28hp diesel engine. Electric start. Freshwater cooled via heat exchanger. Saildrive to three bladed feathering propeller with rope cutter. Single lever control. 95 litre fuel capacity in plastic tank giving approximately 240-mile range at 6 knots. Maximum speed under power 7 knots.
The engine has been recently serviced (November 2019) The saildrive seals betweeen the saildrive and hull were renewed in 2018. With through tunnel Bowthruster.
Fractionally rigged sloop. Anodised aluminium mast and boom by Z Spars. Stainless steel standing rigging (2010). Terylene running rigging (2017). In mast reefing mainsail. Headsail furling system. Lines led aft to cockpit.
