This is a fine example of the highly praised LM30 Motor Sailor. Its dual steering positions allows the boat to be sailed from both the spacious wheelhouse or the cockpit offering a real versatility. Lambda Mu comes with many additional upgrades making it a great seagoing vessel.
The saloon is centralised making use of all the space the boat has to offer. Heading aft you take a couple of steps up into the wheelhouse which also doubles up as a galley area on the Port side. Again this area is totally seperate via a sliding door to the saloon and the cockpit. The Helm position is located to starboard with wheel steering, engine controls and instrumentation. The boat benefits from a autohelm thats is connected to the chartplotter allowing tracks to be automatically steered. There are electric windscreen wipers on forward facing windows. The helmsman's seat slides out to reveal a second slide out navigators seat. To port in the wheelhouse is the galley with opening counter top, revealing a stainless steel sink with hot & cold pressurised water, and two burner gas cooker with oven and grill. In the cockpit there is seating for six around a folding/extending table. Aft again and you are in a spacious cockpit area which comes complete with a fully enclosed hood and table, bench seating to Port, Stbd and Aft allowes a great area to enjoy the surroundings whilst making the most of this very practable LM Sail Boat.
The boat is fully wired for shore power with sockets throughout the boat, the shore power also heats the hot water when connected. There is a modern charger that charges the batteries.
In the last 2 years the current owners have brought the navigation instrumentation up to a high standard replacing the chartplotter and radar with latest Raymarine fully digital equipment. They have also replaced all of the running rigging and guard rail cables. The jib winches have been changed and upgraded to fully self-tailing units.
It is with regret that the owners are selling the boat but as they get older shorthanded sailing has become more difficult. Lambda Mu is a great example of a practable, well laid out Sail Boat, well cared for and maintained to a high standard throughout.
