The Moody 27 is a small family cruiser that is easily handled and fun to sail. This fin keel example has been well cared for and continuously upgraded. Five berths in two cabins and good sails and new standing rigging. Well worth viewing, currently being prepared for this 2019 season. A 2019 survey report is available on request.
Accommodation
The accommodation offers five berths in two cabins. In the forecabin, V berth with stowage under. Opening hatch to deck. In saloon, two settee berths. Fixed table with drop leaves. Upholstery finished in Ochre velour. New saloon flooring March 2019. Galley to starboard. Flavel Vanessa gimballed gas cooker with two burners, grill and oven. Stainless steel sink with manually pumped water supply. 18-gallon freshwater capacity. Cool box. Separate heads compartment with marine toilet and washbasin. Quarter berth to starboard. Radio/CD

Located behind the companionway, Volvo MD2002 twin cylinder 18hp diesel engine. Electric start. Seawater cooled. Shaft drive to two bladed GORI folding propeller. Single lever control. 16-gallon diesel capacity in stainless steel tank. 5 knot cruising speed. Maximum speed under power 6.5 knots. The engine was last serviced March 2019. 2018/2019 new keel bolts and plates, new windows and curtains, running rigging replaced, standing rigging replaced, new Blakes seacocks.
2 x 12-volt batteries charging from the engine alternator, shore power connection with 240-volt ring main. Sterling battery management system.

Aft self-draining cockpit. 2018/2019 new keel bolts and plates, new windows and curtains, running rigging replaced, standing rigging replaced, new Blakes seacocks.
