This year 2000 built Rodman 700 to 2001 specification cabin cruiser/fishing boat has an inboard Volvo Penta TAMD 31-P diesel engine. This Rodman 700 is in a very good order and is being sold as the owner is moving to a larger motor yacht. Great offshore angling craft with comfortable accommodation including diesel cabin heating. This is a practical boat that will suit a couple or enthusiastic anglers. An early viewing is recommended.
Accommodation
The Rodman 700 has a large open cockpit area ideal for angling enthusiasts with two swivel chairs and a removable cockpit canopy with roll up sides,. Twin sliding glass doors both locking back to open up the entire cockpit area.
The Helmsman seat and wheel are to port in the solid covered wheelhouse. There is an area in front of and above the helmsman seat for navigation instrumentation. There is a lift up and lockable seat on starboard side of wheelhouse as well as some storage lockers and access to the engine.
A set of louvered doors and lift up companionway hatch take you down to the saloon which has a galley to port, a heads compartment with marine toilet and wash hand basin to starboard with pressurised cold water.
A large V berth with infill to forward area creating double berth. There is a slot in floor for table pedestal. There are hull side shelfs on both sides. The Rodman 700 has high gloss joinery. and is a modern comfortable space with all the amenities for a weekend fishing trip including diesel cabin heating that has been fitted new in April 2023 .

Mechanical Systems:
This Rodman has a Volvo Penta TAMD 31-P 150HP diesel engine which drives a 3 bladed fixed propeller via a fixed shaft . The engine hours are unknown as the dial is not displaying the hours. The engine was last serviced at the end of 2022. It has a 180 litre steel fuel tank. this motor cruiser will cruise at approximately 14 knots and has a top speed of 17 knots
Electrical Systems:
This boat has 2 x 12v batteries, 1 x engine and 1 x domestic. Batteries are charged by the engine alternator and via a 240v battery charger. It has a 240v ring main with some 240v sockets. There is also a small solar panel to assist with keeping the batteries charged.
