Perfect for coastal adventures or cross-channel journeys, the Southerly 100 is ready for your next voyage. It features a two single berths in the forward cabin, a convertible double berth in the saloon, and aft of the galley a quarter berth. This Southerly 100 has a bright and airy interior, accommodating up to six in two cabins. The yacht is offered for sale with a good service history. Currently located in Queenborough, where a berth might be available subject to negotiations with the Queenborough Harbour Trust.

Accommodation

This Southerly 100 has a bright and airy interior, accommodating up to six in o cabins including the saloon. The forepeak features two single berths, with under berth storage and shelving to both port and starboard. Moving aft to the saloon, the port side has u-shaped seating with a central table that lowers to create a double berth, while a single settee on the starboard side also converts to a berth.

Amidships to starboard, stepping up to the chart and internal helm station, you'll find a single helm seat with full engine controls, navigation aids, a chart table, and vessel control switches.

Opposite the helm on the port side is the L-shaped galley, equipped with a single stainless-steel sink with pressurized hot and cold water, a two-burner gas hob with oven and grill, a fridge and freezer, 240-volt outlets, and plenty of storage. The saloon also includes a radio/CD player.

Aft on the starboard side of the saloon are the heads that include a white sink set in a vanity unit, with pressurized hot and cold water and shower attachment. The space also features a built-in shower tray, a marine toilet, and a mirror. Hot water that is supplied by the engine via a calorifier tank and a 240v immersion heater.

Situated behind the galley is a quarter berth with storage to port, battery switches, and additional storage beneath the berth. This Southerly also features Eberspaecher heating and cream cloth upholstery.

The companionway leads up to a large aft cockpit for a boat of its size with bench seating surrounding the folding wheel steering and binnacle with Compass, Depth gauge, Wind direction and speed log, and engine controls at the rear of the vessel.

This Southerly 100 has a masthead Bermudan sloop rig with a deck stepped aluminium mast and boom, with stainless steel standing rigging. The vessel has a furling headsail and an in-mast furling mainsail with a manually adjusted backstay,  The age of the standing and running rigging is unknown.

This Southerly 100 has a single 2007, 25HP Beta 25 diesel engine powering a shaft-driven two-bladed fixed propeller with a rope cutter. The engine was last serviced by the owner in February 2024. This Beta engine is supplied by a 227-litre capacity stainless steel fuel tank with Morse controls and wheel steering. This yacht will cruise at approximately 4.5 knots and has an approximate maximum speed of 5.5 knots.
 
Electrical Systems:
 
6 x 12-volt batteries (2 x Engine + 2 x Domestic 2 x Bow thruster batteries) charging from the engine alternator, Solar panel and via 240v battery charger.
 
This Southerly 100 also benefits from a 240 volt ring main throughout the vessel along with an inverter, immersion heater and a battery management system ensures optimal performance of the electrical setup onboard.

History & Construction
 
Built in April 1985 this Southerly 100 has a white GRP hull and decks with non-slip surfaces. It has a teak deck in the aft cockpit area. Stainless steel stanchions, pulpit. Self-draining cockpit. The boat was last out of the water in May 2024 when the hull has been polished, re-antifouled and anodes changed.
