Broker Remarks

The boat is available for sale until the middle of August, after that the owner will remove the boat from the market. This Cat was built by Otto and Gerhard Schein. The father died. Gerhard Schein built one Cat a year until now with the Same hull which is designed and calculated by him. Draft 80 cm no keel or drag boards. 

The owner says"The man that did the bottom work inspected the hulls and there is no osmosis found. The portside hull had a Little Damage which is repaired by the same repairman. The rigging was changed by the previous owner as they had a mast break when they arrived in America. This is when the boat became the banner mast with furling main. I checked the rigging and didn't found any critical problems. On my last trip from Menorca to here, the slip from the furling main broke the plastic terminals and lost the balls (35 to 40 knots of wind ). This will be fixed by this week, the pieces are done in Inox by laser cut. I m the second owner of the boat. by salesperson"
Otto Schein Sailing Catamaran in fair condition the owner says she is ready to sail however 17th April 2021 the boat will be taken out of the water for a hull inspection and replacement saildrive bearing. The owner agrees that a cosmetic repaint would benefit the aesthetic appearance of the catamaran yacht however he maintains she is in a usable condition. Under Spanish maritime recreational regulations, all sailing vessels over a certain length must pass a safety for use in Spanish waters inspection. The next Spanish Inspection is not due until 2029. Capacity 10 p. The owner needs to sell the boat as he is moving to Austria. The boat is in good condition, ready to set sail.
The owner confirms that the Solar panels installed are old and might need replacing, they are not itemized in the specification.

    Banmar mast that allows you to carry a roller mainsail or conventional sail (from 2006). As it is only used with a reel, the other ropes are wrong.
    Standing rigging (from 2006). The mast rig is fine, ropes and cables in the mast to be checked.
    2 x Mainsails (one in good condition, the other to sew).

    Genoa in good condition.
    Storm Jib: New
    Magellan Plotter: old but works. The plotter was on board when the current owner bought the boat, so were the 2 compressor fridges; user manuals on board but most of them are in German.
    Anchor windlass 50 meters chain 2020 anchor with 2 anchors chain and rope.
    Electric winch
    Starboard engine revised/overhaul done in 2020 springtime. Engines, starboard changed last year second hand overhauled approx 400h. Port motor works perfectly (approx 1600h): to check silent blocks (vibrations).

    Saildrive seals checked and in good condition. Batteries 2 x 180 ah

    Solar 2 x 95 ah all new

    2 compressor refrigerators, 1 starboard, and 1 in the kitchen.

    Haul out and in, and clean of the hull in 2021. Last anti-fouling in 2021.
