Network Yacht Brokers Lymington has just listed a very well maintained  Westerly Conway 36 centre cockpit Ketch. There were over 350 of these yachts built by Westerly and they proved themselves as very comfortable sturdy and safe cruising yachts.  She has accommodation for seven with a double forward and a large double aft cabin with ensuite heads.
Down below she is neat and tidy with high-quality joinery throughout ,which gives a warm quality feel in all her cabins.
She has pressurized hot water provided by a calorifier and a cabin heater.
Her ketch rig makes her easy to sail shorthanded and overall she offers a comfortable cruising experience be it coastal cruises or extended trips across the channel. They are indeed capable of safe Atlantic crossings which many have completed.

Her current owner is a very experienced yachtsman, and she is in excellent working order throughout, the sails are in good condition and her Mercedes engine has been rebuilt.

Given her accommodation and proven sailing abilities, she represents a real bargain.

Accommodation

The Westerly Conway 36 sleeps 7 and with a large saloon and two heads she makes a comfortable cruiser with friends or large family. The fore cabin has a twin v berth which has a fill-in to make a  good sized double. There is shelving along the hull and a hanging cupboard. The saloon settees give two berths and there is a large folding table. The heads are to port and have a hot/cold shower, stainless steel sink and vanity unit.
The chart table is to port amidships and forward facing. The rear aft cabin has an ensuite heads and hanging locker. Between the main cabin and aft cabin is an excellent pilot berth with a lee board. The galley has an icebox, stainless steel sink and an oven with two burners and grill.
