Polar Bear' is a very well maintained Westerly Konsort bilge keeler, for sale in Lymington, Hampshire.
Her present owner has maintained very well and updated her constantly over the years.
Her engine has been upgraded to the Bukh 24 which has been serviced annually and has had a new water pump and stainless steel exhaust elbow recently fitted.
Her standing rigging was replaced in 2012 and her running rigging in 2014. Two lewmar30 winches were added in 2015.
A new cooker was installed in 2016 and a new gas certificate issued.
Her sails are in very good order. Sanders supplied a new Genoa in 2017 and she comes with a Cruising chute with snuffer.
All her lines led back to the cockpit and she has a ST2002 tiller pilot autohelm. So she is easily sailed short or single handed.
Accommodation
The Westerly Konsort sleeps 6 in two cabins, the forward berth is a v twin which converts to a double with a fill in. The Port saloon berth makes into a double and to port aft there is a large quarter berth. The saloon has a large dining table and is particularly large given the beam of the Konsort and has good with good headroom . The galley has a stainless steel sink with hot and cold water, a double burner oven with grill. In the heads, there is a hot water shower.
