Here we have a 1972 Westerly Centaur advertised by Network Yacht Brokers Swansea. This particular model has been totally refurbished in 2007/2008, details of this you can find in the particulars. She is and excellent example of this ever popular craft and the best conditioned Centaur avaialble. PX considered.
Accommodation
5 berths in 2 cabins, including a double berth in a separate cabin forward, plus an extra double berth in. The Galley is equipped with a propane gas hob and grill, and a sink supplied with cold water by a foot pump. Separate heads with washbasin to port.
Mechanical and Rigging
Built by Westerly Yachts designed by Laurent Giles. Sloop with bilge keels, tiller steering, GRP hull deck and superstructure. White hull with white deck, chromed steel push and pulpit
Beta 20hp engine (170hrs) installed with all new electrics, shaft, stern tube packing and propeller, engine controls and bilge blower. Shaft driven 3 bladed propeller.
TANKAGE: Fuel: 10 gallons steel tank Water: 15 gallons
ELECTRICS: All new electrics including mast, instrumentation and 2 * 120 amp sealed batterie charged by engine alternator.
Sloop rigged, aluminium mast and boom. In Mast main and roller headsail with anodised aluminium spars.

Construction and work completed
Internal linings including cabin roof with removable headlining, cabin sides (including windows refurbished professionally), hull linings with grey lining carpet (all products from Hawk House, the Westerly experts).
Hull stripped and checked below waterline and epoxyed seven coats. All skin fittings removed and replaced where needed.
Galley mouldings cut out and new quarter bulkheads installed with new galley n timber with hardwood varnished finished, full cooker, water pump, gas and water piping.
New plastimo gimballed cooker with oven
New locker, toilet base and piping to heads
New companionway bulkhead lining, engine cover/steps and main cabin bulkhead relaminated.
