2015 Windrider 17
This Windrider was built in 2015 but not commissioned until 2018.The Windrider 17 is a small trimaran sailboat with foot pedal steering, for up to four people. It was designed by well-known multihull sailboat designer Jim Brown. Road trailer included.
Accommodation
This is no ordinary Windrider 17 “Emoji Happy” has every conceivable fitted extra and bespoke extras fitted too. New she would cost you over £26k. She has an upgraded rig and an upgraded sale plan making her incredibly fast, I have personally achieved 21 knots SOG, she is completely safe and very stable I've been caught out in a good force 6 going 7 with rolling waves behind me and not once did she attempt to broach, We simply surfed the waves absolutely incredible. I have to say that this trimaran is the most exhilarating sail I have ever experienced in my 40 years of sailing. A removable additional seat also means that you can be joined by a crew member, using a autotiller means you can exit the cockpit lay out on the trampolines or do a bit of fishing as you sail along. That coupled with the freedom of a trailer sailing, beaching her where you want and sleeping undercover in the main hull has made from some amazing adventures and memories, I'll be very sorry to see her go.
Constructed from durable white rotationally moulded polyethylene, the Windrider 17 will give you and your family years of sailing. Quick and easy to setup and launch, the WR17 is fun for you and your family, or just to idle around by yourself. Owned by the current owner for the last 2 years, owner is selling as he has purchased larger yacht.
